The Rector-Commandant of the Academy of Justice announces a COMPETITION for the position of Assistant Professor at the Institute of Management and Quality Sciences.

BASIC TASKS:

1. Assistance in designing, implementing and reporting scientific research in the field of management and quality sciences, especially in the field of issues related to the specificity of the tasks of the Academy of Justice;
2. Assistance in designing, implementing and reporting scientific research within various scientific disciplines within the field of social sciences, especially thematically related to the specificity of AWS's tasks;
3. Possessing substantive competences in conducting classes with AWS students in subjects such as: communication, negotiations, crisis management;
4. Undertaking scientific activities aimed at building the scientific achievements of AWS, including:
   1. publishing in high-scoring journals and publishing houses;
   2. popularization of knowledge by publishing in popular science magazines and publications and media;
   3. participation in research projects;
   4. active representation of AWS at scientific conferences;
   5. proposing solutions to problems for business organizations.
5. Conducting classes for full-time and part-time students and postgraduate students;
6. Preparation of course cards and materials for students/students;
7. Assistance in works related to the current activities of the Institute.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

1. holding at least a doctoral degree in the field of social sciences in the discipline of management and quality science or social communication and media studies, as well as significant scientific or didactic achievements related to the subject matter of the University.
2. having significant, documented scientific achievements in accordance with the profile of the University
3. having full legal capacity and exercising full public rights,
4. No criminal record for an intentional crime
5. fluent in spoken and written Polish.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO PEOPLE:

1. who are authors of scientific publications in the form of scientific articles in high-scoring journals or chapters in scientific monographs in publications from the list of publishers publishing peer-reviewed scientific monographs;
2. having the skills to design, implement and report scientific research in the field of social sciences - having documented research achievements (scientific and research projects);
3. have experience in didactic work, popularization of knowledge and implementation of solutions in social practice;
4. declaring their readiness to affiliate with AWS of scientific achievements created as a result of their work at this University;
5. undertaking other activities in areas related to the functioning of non-profit and for-profit organizations;
6. proficient in English at a level that allows the use of English-language scientific literature in the field of social sciences and humanities,
7. guaranteeing the timely performance of tasks undertaken in AWS;
8. expressing readiness to carry out didactic classes in the field (including: in Kalisz, Warsaw and Zakopane).

7. Statement of no criminal record – Appendix No. 3;
8. Statement on the primary or additional workplace – Appendix No. 4.

The selected candidates will be informed about the date of the interview by phone.

The competition will be decided within 8 weeks from the date of the end of the announcement.

The university does not provide housing.

The outcome of the competition does not result in the establishment of an employment relationship.

The decision on employment is made by the Rector-Commandant.
