Football (Position) Coaches (Multiple Positions Available)

Central State University is seeking highly motivated and experienced Position Coaches to lead and develop student-athletes while overseeing the game strategy. The positions require strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills to contribute to the overall success of the football team. Minimum Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree required · Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level · Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of position play, techniques, and strategies. · Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor players and coaching staff. · Recruiting Ability : Proven experience in identifying and securing top-tier position talent, with strong recruiting connections. · Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations. · Technology Proficiency: Experience with film analysis software (e.g., HUDL, XOS ), recruiting databases, and playbook development tools. Preferred Qualifications · Master’s degree preferred · Proven track record of player development and defensive success. · Strong network and ability to attract high-caliber student-athletes. · Experience in managing defensive game planning and adjustments.
