Activities and context: The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (Recod.ai) at UNICAMP opens a call for a Post-Doctoral position in the area of Artificial Intelligence applied to Oil and Gas, integrated into the Energy Production Innovation Center (EPIC). The researcher in Artificial Intelligence will be able to act in the conception and development of advanced machine learning algorithms and data analysis applied to major challenges in the Oil and Gas industry. Mandatory requirements: PhD in Exact Sciences: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related areas; PhD completed a maximum of 7 years ago; must reside in Campinas; ability to work well in a team; fluency (written and oral) in English.
Desirable requirements: Experience with computer vision and machine learning.

The duration of the scholarship is 24 months with the possibility of renewal. This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
