Position available within the research project entitled: “Materiale noi îmbogățite cu grafen și nitrură de carbon grafitică, utilizate în afecțiunile ţesuturilor bucale prin terapie fotodinamică/ New materials graphene enriched and graphitic carbon nitride, used in oral tissue disorders by photodynamic therapy”, project number PN-IV-P1-PCE-2023-1482, 87PCE/01.07.2025
Fixed-term employment for a Research Assistant within the project, focusing on the design and physicochemical characterization of experimental hydrogels for antimicrobial phototherapy applications, as well as the development and optimization of novel laboratory-scale technologies for the synthesis and functionalization of innovative nanomaterials.

Skills/Qualifications
- higher bachelor and master studies in applied engineering sciences/industrial biotechnologies/nanotechnologies
- the quality of a doctoral student in materials engineering
- 3 Years professional experience (work contracts/internship contracts) in a research laboratory
- good knowledge (reading, speaking, writing) of English and Romanian;
- Fulfillment of the standards required for the position of research assistant as stipulated in the Methodology for the Competition for Filling Vacant Teaching and Research Positions at Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca
