Offer Description
Position available within the research project entitled: “Center of Excellence for Climate and Societal Change”, project number PN-IV-P6-6.1-CoEx-2024-0042
Babeș-Bolyai University is recruiting a Scientific Researcher for the project “Centre of Excellence for Climate and Societal Change”. The successful candidate will contribute to research activities implemented by UBB, including data collection, processing, analysis and interpretation, preparation of scientific reports and publications, participation in national and international conferences, and organisation of project events, while ensuring compliance with deadlines and responsible use of allocated resources. Applicants must hold a university degree and a PhD in Psychology/Pedagogy, have knowledge of Romanian and English, at least 10 years of advanced experience in climatology, geography, spatial planning, related fields or applied research, and have participated in at least five nationally or internationally funded university projects in Earth Sciences, climatology, geography, spatial planning or related areas. Strong communication, analytical, organisational and digital skills, together with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports, are also required.

- at least 15 years of advanced experience in the field of Psychology/Pedagogy or related fields, as well as in applied research;
- Participation in at least 5 nationally or internationally funded projects implemented by universities in the fields of Psychology/Pedagogy or related fields, as well as in applied research;
- Communication skills, the ability to write clear and accurate reports.
- proficiency in Romanian and English;
- Fulfillment of the standards required for the position of scientific researcher, as stipulated in the Methodology for the Competition for Filling Vacant Teaching and Research Positions at Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca
