Business Partner serves as the dedicated human resources leader for the Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine and acts as the primary liaison between the College of Medicine and Xavier University's Office of Human Resources. This role operates within a matrix reporting structure and partners closely with leadership to support workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational growth, and strategic initiatives. AA/ EOE This position operates within a matrix reporting structure and maintains accountability to: Xavier University of Louisiana Office of Human Resources Co-Associate Deans for Finance and Administration, Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Seven to ten years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience. Demonstrated experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, employment law, and HR operations. Experience advising managers and senior leaders on workforce and organizational matters. Strong communication, consultation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
