VC SAT Scores

SAT Score Ranges for Admitted Students:

• Score Range: 800–980 (combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and Math)
• Average Score: Approximately 890
• Percentile: Around the 25th to 50th percentile for admitted students

Key Points:

• SAT or ACT scores are required for most freshman applicants to Voorhees College (VC).
• VC employs a holistic review process, meaning SAT scores are considered alongside GPA, essays, and extracurriculars rather than as a strict threshold.
• Voorhees College does not currently have a superscoring policy for SAT scores; the highest single test date score is typically used.
• Alternatives such as AP or IB test scores may be considered for placement or credit but are not substitutes for SAT/ACT requirements.
• Prospective students are encouraged to aim for an SAT score of at least 900 or above to be competitive for admission to Voorhees College.
