Activities and context: One full-time post-doctoral position in Mathematics, for a period of one year, are available at the Departamento de Matemática da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar). The position is sponsored by FAPESP in association with the Regular Project 2025/26984-4. The postdoc project, titled "Asymptotic dynamics for autonomous and non-autonomous semilinear problems," consists of questions related to asymptotic and geometric analysis of evolutionary partial differential equations.

Mandatory requirements: The candidate must have a PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or related areas with a solid background in autonomous and non-autonomous semilinear and quasilinear parabolic, hyperbolic partial differential equations, semigroup theory and spectral analysis of linear operators.

Desirable requirements: In addition, it is desirable that the candidate has experience in geometric theory of parabolic and hyperbolic partial differential equations.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
